  1. 在有关“中国”的社会科学文献梳理中,Urban land expansion and arable land loss in ChinaUrban land expansion and arable land loss in China—a case study of Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region”(Minghong Tan, Xiubin Li, Hui Xie, Changhe Lu2005)一文被Elsevier出版社列为(过去10年)下载次数最多的50篇文章(Top 50 downloaded articles),排在第39位,下载次数为8352次,目前该文已被引用200多次。

  该文主要内容:文章利用中科院资环环境数据中心的数据,分析了不同等级城镇建设用地扩展及其对耕地的占用特点。并设计了空间邻接度的概念和计算程序,研究了不同等级城市建设用地和耕地的空间邻接度差异。主要结论有:城镇越小,城镇扩展中来自耕地的比例越高;空间邻接度的不同是造成这一差异的最直接原因。     

  2. “Does the Green Great Wall effectively decrease dust storm intensity inChina? A study based on NOAA NDVI and weather station data”Minghong Tan, Xiubin Li, 2015)一文发表后,研究成果被“Global Assessment of Sand and Dust Storms”报告引用,并因此受邀成为该报告的审稿专家。该报告由联合国环境计划署、世界气象组织和联合国防治荒漠化公约(UNEP, WMO, and UNCCD)等共同编写。
