Fifth International Symposium on Environment, Natural Resources and Ecological Conservation (ISENREC2018) 

    The Chinese Society of Environmental Resources and Ecological Conservation, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mongolian Foundation for Science and Technology (MFST), Mongolia Academy of Science, Guangdong Institute of Eco-environment and Soil Sciences,  Chinese Culture University, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong are organizing the 5th International Symposium on Environment, Natural Resources and Ecological Conservation (ISENREC2018). The conference will take place in Ulaanbaatar, MONOGLIA on August 14-18, 2018. The conference will cover issues on ecological conservation, soil and water protection, GIS, Remote Sensing and etc. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to join the conference to communicate with the distinguished speakers and share your research experiences and findings.                                                                                                 

　　The theme of ISENREC2018 is “Opportunities and Challenges: Development and Conservation in Arid and Semi-arid Regions”, and the topics of interest are: 

　　Soil and water protection and remediation 

　　Impacts of climate change on ecological environment 

　　 Greenhouse gas emissions and mitigation strategies 

　　Ecosystem modeling and its application on environment conservation 

　　RS, GPS, GIS and other advanced technologies in ecosystem environment managements.   

　　The purpose of IRNGGEM2018 is to exchange research ideas and methodologies and discuss areas for collaboration and set up an international research network on ecological conservation of arid and semi-arid regions.

　　EXCURSION  

　　Option 1: Three Day trip Orkhon River Valley   

　　This trip takes through Hangai Mountain with woodland and natural hot springs, and near sand dune. The Orkhon valley is also rich with archaeological historical and cultural remains attesting to the origins and deevelopment of North Central Asian, and specifically Mongolian.   

　　Option 2: One Day trip to Hustai National Park on August16, 2018  (Departure: 9:00 , Return back to Ulaanbaatar: 18:00, Lunch -13:00 at National Park Restaurant).   

　　The park is located 95 km west of Ulaanbaatar. Hustai has unique landscape that features mountain steppe and steppe also there are sand dunes representing a desert of Mongolia. Here you can see the only wild horses of the world in the wild nature and other wildlife. The Hustai tourist resort has different services such as hotel, restaurant, museum, souvenir shop and meeting room.
