中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所研究员,博士生导师,中国科学院院士。获国家“杰出青年基金”和“引进海外杰出人才计划”资助。中国科学院特聘研究员,中国科学院大学岗位教授、生态系统生态学教研室主任,担任《应用生态学报》主编,《Journal of Resources and Ecology》和《中国科学数据》副主编。中国陆地生态系统通量观测研究网络联盟(ChinaFLUX)理事长,兼任国家生态系统观测研究网络(CNERN)综合研究中心主任,中国科学院CERN科学委员会副主任,中国青藏高原研究会第六届理事会副理事长等学术职务。获国务院政府特殊津贴、全国优秀科技工作者、科学中国人年度人物等多项荣誉奖。出版专著10部,授权专利7项,发表论文700余篇,获国家科技进步奖一等奖1项,二等奖2项,省部级一等奖3项。
主要研究方向及学术贡献
长期开展生态系统碳氮水通量及其耦合循环过程机制研究,近期的科学研究重点包括:研发陆地生态系统碳氮储量、能量和物质交换通量及生态要素网络观测新技术;揭示陆地生态系统碳氮水循环的生物物理和化学过程机理,认知陆地生态系统碳氮水循环的动态变化、地理格局及环境影响规律和机制;探索陆地生态系统碳-氮-水耦合循环过程机理、动态演变和地理格局的生物环境控制机制及全球变化因素影响与反馈作用等大尺度宏观生态系统与全球变化科学问题。设计创建了中国陆地生态系统通量观测研究网络(ChinaFLUX),评估和认证了中国区域陆地生态系统碳源/汇功能格局及增汇潜力,评估了大气氮沉降和陆地生态系统实际蒸散发通量的时空格局及其对生态系统生产力和固碳功能的影响,开拓陆地生态系统碳-氮-水耦合循环过程机制研究新领域。
