中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所、中国科学院生态系统网络观测与模拟重点实验室研究员(二级)、博士生导师;中国科学院大学科教融合卓越中心岗位教授。1987、1990年获原北京农业工程大学水利系工学学士、工学硕士学位;1998年获清华大学水力学与河流动力学专业工学博士学位。2004年2月-6月、2007年11月-2008年2月、2011年3月-8月、2015年7月-2016年6月分别在美国University of Kansas、Western Michigan University、 美国农业部(USDA-ARS) Grassland & Soil and Water Lab、Western Michigan University做高级访问学者。
研究领域
擅长农业水文、森林水文、高寒山区水文、生态系统与水文系统相互作用的理论方法研究,长期从事自主知识产权生态水文模型开发,并应用于流域、区域水文学问题研究。目前主要研究天山-帕米尔-喀喇昆仑山-昆仑山地区的水文过程及其对气候变化响应的机理,黄河流域生态水文过程及人类活动和气候变化影响机理。

在中国科学院大学担任硕士、博士研究生专业普及课<<水文生态学>>、<<土壤物理学>>首席讲授。

主要学术贡献
提出了地下水蒸发、作物根系层土壤储水量随机变化、根-水耦合作用、高寒山区流域基流过程、流域尺度冰川水文过程等的新公式、新算法,开发了陆地生态-水文程耦合模拟的分布式模型PRES (Precipitation – Runoff and Ecosystem Simulation)。成果在Journal of Hydrology、 Hydrology and Earth System Sciences、 Journal of Hydrometeorology、Soil Science Society of America Journal、Scientific Reports以及《中国科学-D》等刊物发表。
