博士,博士生导师。2015年获国家杰出青年基金资助。

目前任国际工程地质与环境协会(IAEG)滑坡命名方法专委会主席、国际期刊《Engineering Geology》、《Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment》、《Journal of Mountain Science编委、《Geoenvironmental Disaster》副主编等职。曾获第七届黄汲清青年地质科学技术奖等奖项。

主要从事多尺度岩土体变形破坏机理、环境与地质灾害动力学过程模型与风险分析的理论和应用基础研究。已发表学术论文130余篇,其中SCI检索论文50篇、EI检索论文30余篇,出版专著4部,完成国家级规划4项,论著被引3000余次。
