男,1972年生,甘肃平凉人。博士,博士生导师,中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所研究员。1999年-2002年,就读北京大学城市与环境系自然地理专业获理学博士学位。2006年-2010年,先后在香港理工大学、奥地利国际应用系统学会、美国密歇根大学做访问学者和高级研究学者。现任中科院地理所拉萨高原生态综合试验站站长、高原生态研究中心主任、自然灾害研究中心副主任、中国地理学会青年工作委员会主任等。
研究领域和方向:
自然地理综合研究,气候变化及其区域响应,土地利用变化与生态效应模拟。
