  Thitipoom is a PhD student at the University of Leeds interested in flood forecasting. His background is in geology and data science, and he is applying these fields to focus on flash floods. Thitipoom is from Thailand, where he graduated with a B.Sc. in Geology from Chiang Mai University. He completed an MSc in Applied Data Science and Modelling at the University of Exeter in the UK.
