论文题目: Quantifying the effects of meteorological change between neighboring days on human thermal comfort in China

摘  要: The meteorological change between neighboring days is an important meteorological indicator that reflects the meteorological variability and stability. However, the effects of meteorological change between neighboring days on human thermal comfort (HTC) are rarely mentioned in the studies. This study proposes an assessment paradigm to quantify the effects of meteorological change between neighboring days on HTC. Three indictors, thermo-hygrometric index (THI), wind effect index (WEI), and index of clothing (ICL), are involved in current assessment paradigm, which is applied to assess the HTC in China during 1960-2017. Results show that the HTC indicators are roughly higher in South, but lower in North. Meanwhile, the comfort days are mainly concentrated in summer, while extreme discomfort days are major in winter. It is guessed that low temperature is the main cause of China's discomfort. The effects of meteorological change between neighboring days on HTC indictors also present North-South and seasonal differences, i.e., the D-values of them are lower in the South and summer as well as higher in the North and winter. In addition, the changes of meteorological conditions between neighboring days greatly increase the number of extreme discomfort days of ICL. Outputs of this study are expected to provide an early overview of the impacts of short-term meteorological change on HTC.
